Post subject: Spell pushback and improved shadowform?

Not sure if this is known yet, but I was wondering...let's say you're a
shadow priest with improved shadowform, which gives you a 70% chance to
avoid spell pushback. There's also the fact that you can only suffer the
effects of pushback twice before there's no further effect.

Given those two things, if you are channeling Mind Flay while in
shadowform and you are attacked twice, and neither time causes pushback
because of the benefit of improved shadowform, does that mean that you
can no longer suffer pushback during that cast, even though both times
were avoided? Basically, I'm wondering if an "avoided" pushback counts
as one of the two pushbacks you can get before there's no further effect.

I believe the answer to this was that an avoided push back does not
count. They only count the actual push backs.

I guess you could interpret that as reducing the advantage of Improved
Shadowform, if you're going to get the two pushbacks anyway if you're
getting pounded. Still going to be useful if you're only being hit by
a single mob though.

Yeah, I'm just skipping it altogether. It's worthless for me anyway.
