Post subject: Knode to Thunderbird

Is it possible to configure Knode such that, when I choose "Forward by e-
mail", it goes to Thunderbird to handle the mailing (I have all my addresses
on Thunderbird)

I am on KDE4.2.4 and did put thunderbird as default e-mail client in its
configuration.

Mail User Agents (MUA) are thunderbird, kontact,...

You do not forward email to another MUA, you forward to an email address.

Without knowing exact setup/settings all I can suggest is tell knode
to quit pulling down email, bring up thunderbird.
Now forward email to yourself from Knode and see if thunderbird sees
the message.

Yes, I know that, but I was looking for a possibility to tell Knode not to
handle e-mail itself, but hand the text over to Thunderbird. Somewhat like
configuring Firefox to use whatever e-mail client you like to handle e-mail
links.

I might have been not clear enough from the start: I use only Thunderbird to
handle e-mail and I use Knode only as newsreader. I never mix the two
functions, and I'd like to keep it that way.

Perhaps you want to play with default applications in the KDE configuration.

He did that already. ;-)

OP - I don't know of any way to make Knode do what you want it to do.
Just copynpaste.
