What is the difference between mandriva-linux-free-dual-2010.iso and
mandriva-linux-free-2010.iso?

Dual indicates you could have a base install for either for 32-bit
processors (i586) and 64-bit (x86_64) architecture.

That iso would give you a base install.
Larger selection of packages if you get the iso for the architecture
you wish to install.

Exact details of each iso contents can be found in the .idx file.
